The Embrace China Art Troupe, which will visit Bahrain to celebrate the Chinese New Year with local Chinese communities and the Bahraini people,  will give an outstanding performance featuring Chinese songs, dances, and acrobatics in the Culture Hall at 20:00 Tuesday, 7 Feb, 2012.  The performance  is open to the public and free of charge.

   The Embrace China Art Troupe boasts domestically renowned Chinese artists, and a few popular young actors and actresses. Most of them are from Gansu Opera and Ballet Group, the rest come from the Air force Academy of Television Arts Center, China National Peking Opera Company, and Qianguo Ethnic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Songyuan, Jilin Province.

    Gansu Opera and Ballet Group has created a number of outstanding opera and ballet performances.  One of them is Along the Silk Road,  which since its birth in 1979, has had far-reaching influence to Chinese dances. Brought to  stage at  Theatre Museum at La Scala, Milan, Italy as early as 1982, it was the first Chinese Performance Troupe to appear in world's top theatre. So far, this ballet has traveled all around the world, and become a big "ballet star" and the oriental"Swan Lake".
