Manama, Bahrain, 30 April 2015 –H.E. Ambassador Qi Zhenhong had a meeting with H.E. Dr. Sheikha Rana Isa Al Khalifa, Asst. Under-Secretary for Arab & Afro-Asian Affairs and Organizations of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain. Ambassador Qi said, "In recent years the rapid development of China-Bahrain relations and cooperation in all fields had continued to promote bilateral friendships considerably. As the new ambassador, I'm willing to actively promote the bilateral relations in various fields, and offer more benefit to our two countries' people."

Dr. Sheikha Rana warmly welcomed H.E. Qi to assume the office of the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and hoped to develop the good cooperation in the future. She said, "China is an important country on the world stage today, holding most essential international status and role. Bahrain pays high attention to develop relations with China and appreciates China always upholding the objective and fair stance in international and regional affairs. We are ready to work with Chinese side to promote the integrated development of the bilateral relations."
